Join Pima Association of Governments for a presentation and Q&A session to learn more about its draft regional transportation plan, the 2055 Regional Mobility and Accessibility Plan, or RMAP. As the region’s metropolitan planning organization for transportation, environmental and economic vitality planning, PAG is federally required to update the plan every four years to annually secure millions of dollars in federal funding for transportation improvements in the region.

The draft plan identifies transportation priorities and anticipated funding sources over a 30-year outlook. The draft plan identifies transportation priorities and anticipated funding sources over a 30-year outlook. The content of the draft plan includes: 

  • $5.5 billion for transit improvements (including operations and maintenance, facility improvements, and expansion)
  • 211 miles of roadway improvements
  • 200 miles of sidewalks
  • 150 miles of bike lanes
  • 14 traffic interchange projects
