Pima Association of Governments is a metropolitan planning organization for the greater Tucson region and an association of local, state and tribal governments that works to build consensus among its members and the public on regional planning for transportation, water quality, air quality and economic vitality.

Regional Partnerships

Committees

Pima Association of Governments has policy and technical advisory committees. Committee recommendations flow through the Executive Director and to the PAG Regional Council. Regional Council

A regional council of governments, Pima Association of Governments also serves as the Federal Highway Administration’s designated metropolitan planning organization and as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s designated lead agency for regional air quality, water quality and solid waste planning for the Tucson metropolitan area.
