You can always gather more information about the Regional Transportation Authority or the RTA Next plan by visiting one of our websites but now you have another way to hear about RTA-related matters.

The RTA recently launched a podcast dedicated to exploring the RTA and RTA Next plans. Featuring RTA leadership or other experts, podcast episodes will cover the successes of the current voter-approved plan, the economic impacts of transportation investments, RTA history, what transportation improvements the RTA Next plan has in store, and much more.
“Over nearly 20 years, the RTA plan has funded more than 1,000 transportation improvements, big and small,” said PAG and RTA Executive Director Michael J. Ortega. “This podcast is another way to reach people with the facts about the RTA, examples of the important transportation improvements the plan has funded and show the public the product of their investment in transportation.”
The first episode discussed the details of the RTA Next plan, the $2.67 billion sales-tax funded proposal for regional transportation improvements for the next 20 years.
In the second episode, we delved into the history of the RTA and how the voter-approved 2006 plan was developed. We also discussed some of the transportation realities leading to the creation of the RTA.
New episodes will drop twice a month. Find episodes and subscribe to RTA Delivers at Apple Podcasts and Spotify. You also can find episodes on the RTA YouTube page and at rtamobility.com/podcast.
